As always, the 2022 RAM 1500 Sport version is exclusively offered in Canada. Moreover, several special editions are made available in 2022, like the Rebel G/T and Laramie G/T models, the BackCountry as well as the 10th Anniversary Edition.

A design that cannot go unnoticed
 

Depending on model, the front of the 2022 RAM boasts a large sculpted hood with air intake ducts, a radiator grille with Active Air deflectors and huge headlights, which give it a sturdy and menacing look, and an overall striking silhouette. 

It also flaunts 18 to 22 inch wheels, a multifunction tailgate with a 60/40 lateral opening door system and a central step to help reach the bed, as well as a wide array of available body colors (up to 9 depending on selected model). 

You will also be able to choose between different bed configurations (5.7- foot bed, or 6.4- foot bed) and cab choices (team or Quad), depending on selected model. Moreover, if you opt for one of the previously mentioned special edition models, you could take advantage of added features like graphic elements, protection plates and all-terrain tires, to name just a few. 

Performant engine choices
 

2022 RAM 1500 trucks come with 4 performant engine choices, which also bring solid towing capacities. Here are the different available engines:

• A 3.6 L V6 with 305 horsepower, with or without eTorque;
• A 5.7 L V8 with 395 horsepower, with or without eTorque;
• A 3.0 L V6 EcoDiesel with 260 horsepower and 480 lb-ft. max. torque (highest maximum torque of its category);
• A 6.2 L V8 turbocharged with 702 horsepower, available only for the TRX version.

All of these engines are couple with an 8- speed automatic transmission and, depending on selected model, you will have the choice between 2 or 4 wheel drive, as well as a 4 wheel Active Level pneumatic suspension (exclusive to this category).

An interior that will turn the competition green with envy

The 2022 RAM 1500 interior is the most luxurious of its category, on top of being the one with the most generous legroom in 2nd row, as well as an interior that is 6.6 inches longer than all of its competitors. 

On top of offering you and your passengers ample space, the 1500 RAM boasts high quality noble materials like genuine wood trims, high-end leather upholstery, or fabric upholstery with tire tread motifs. Front seats also have practical stowing pockets at the back, amongst other things. 

You will enjoy the heated seats, which come standard on all versions.
